Join us as we walk in honor of Gakobe "Kobe" Milton-a beloved son, brother, student, athlete, and light to everyone who knew him.
The Gakobe Strong Foundation was created in loving memory of Kobe after his courageous battle with bone cancer at just the age of 15 years old. Even during his fight, Kobe encouraged others, stayed committed to school, and never lost his love for basketball. His strength continues to inspire our mission.
This 5K walk is more than a walk-its a movement of resilience, hope, and legacy.
Where the Proceeds Will Go:
All proceeds directly support the mission of the Gakobe Strong Foundation, which is dedicated to:
- Providing scholarship through the Gakobe Strong Foundation “Forever Strong Scholarship”
- Providing support to families impacted by childhood illness
- Creating community outreach programs that uplift and empower youth
Our mission is to empower youth and families to remain strong in the face of adversity-mentally-emotionally, academically, and athletically-just as Kobe did.
